Be seen.

You are only noticed when you are either on the top or at the bottom, but not in-between.  No one ever notices the in-betweener.  They notice those at the top because they are outstanding.  They make themselves known, they draw attention to themselves through their achievements.  Those at the bottom are noticed because they are under-achievers, someone is always trying to help them.  They see the need to help them get above ground.

However, those in the middle, somehow, don’t exist.  Because they are average, the need to be helped isn’t their as those at the bottom and they don’t draw attention because they aren’t doing anything great.  So they are basically in everyones blind-spot.

Why not make yourself noticed?  Why not be out-standing?  Why not do something great?  Be seen!  Be noticed for a great accomplishment.  Be noticed for some outstanding action.  Be noticed for doing something great.  It gives you stature.  It gives you respect.

Don’t however, be at the bottom.  Because even though they draw attention to themselves, it’s not what anyone would want for themselves.  Do you want people to always be pitying you?  Do you want people to always be assisting you in every area of your life?  Do you want to be considered less of a person?  Do you want to be considered someone of little importance?

Always strive to do your best.  Aim for the sky, so if you fall, you’ll land on the clouds.   Have high expectations of yourself.  Be seen!

Network Marketing

So I’ve tried several network marketing ventures in the past 9 years.  And most of them require that you pay a small amount of money and then you are registered and you will get products to sell or you can now build a downline.  However, they have not proven to be fruitful.

One of the most recent of them is global money line, but you have to register through PayPal to make the payment, however, I am not able to transfer the money from my visa.card to the PayPal account.  Nothing I try is working.  I have even wrote PayPal about it and no response as to my problem.  So whilst I can increase my downline, I cannot get compensated for my recruitment.

Whilst I believe in network marketing, but sometimes when I sign up for the opportunity and I cannot be compensated is what I have a problem with.  When the system isn’t doing what it says it should do, I have a problem with that.  The only network marketing venture that I have tried that really worked was Avon.  That was a done deal.  No problems what so ever.

My question is, why can’t all these network marketing ventures do exactly what they said they will do without any scheme or problem?  I love network marketing, but I cannot afford to be joining and paying the fees and yet still not be compensated.  I don’t have money to throw away.

In need of a good network marketing venture.

The ‘Why?’ Of what you do.

Why do you do what you do? Do you do it to please someone?  Or do you do it because this is what you want to do?  This is something that you enjoy doing.  I have come to realize that most people usually do what they do to please someone.  Whether it’s their parents, their teacher, their boss, their spouse.  Whomever it is, it’s not about you, but the other person.  But it’s not always good to do such.  Firstly, we ought to please God first in all that we do.  Because He sees all and knows all.  So why try to please people?

You see, whilst people see what you do, God sees why you do.  So if people can only see skin deep and God can see the heart, then I believe that your intentions are worth more than your actions.  I know there is a saying ‘ action speaks louder than words’ but what good is your action if your intentions are bad?  It’s as good as deceit.

So the next time you think of pleasing someone, ask yourself, why.  Yes you want to respect and honor the person, but your why, would really determine if you would be blessed for it or not.  And for me, the why is more important.

Funeral

I went to my really good friends funeral today and I only realized what’s the real reason for having a funeral.  Although I have been to several funerals, this one today really opened my understanding.  Funerals aren’t for the dead!  Yes we share their life for all to see, to remember the fond moments we had with them and to lay them to rest, but a funeral is really for those who are alive.

The funeral is to bring closure to those who may have questions, to those who is in denial, to those who just want to see the person one last time.  If a funeral never takes place for someone who has gone before, then there really is no closure.  If we examine carefully, we would see that persons who may have drowned or murdered and their body is not found, their family have a very hard time in moving on because they still have a bit of hope that their loved one is still alive out-there.  Whilst this may not necessarily be the case, but because they were not able to lay their loved one to rest they will always have some false hope that things aren’t what it is.

We need the closure, we need the questions answered, we need to see our loved one for just one last time in the flesh.  Closure, because we need to say goodbye to the person in the flesh.  Answered questions because we sometimes need to see to believe.  See our loved ones because though we will always have them in our memory and we may be able to look at a picture to remind ourselves of the moment we shared, not seeing them in the flesh is painful.  So the funeral is for that one last look.

Though a funeral is very sad and full of tears in most cases, it is needed for all!
